BEAST 15-Hour Registration

Registration for BEAST is individual, however registrants have the option to submit information and payment for their teammates if they wish. If you are on a team, then list your teammates names, your team name and your team's competition category (for example, "solo woman", "2-man", "3-coed 45+" or "Team Lotto") with your registration information. Racer information must be submitted for each person entering.

The received by deadline for pre-registrations is three days prior to race day. After that time, we will accept further entries if possible, but the late entry fees are significantly higher. We do not guarantee that we will be able to accommodate entries on-site, so please shoot us an e-mail or phone call rather than just showing up.

Registration fees: Note: Because of the course format change, we will be refunding $20 of each 15-Hour entry fee and $15 of each 7-Hour entry fee paid by PayPal. If you are paying by check, please deduct $20 or $15 from your entry fee, accordingly.

Cascade Orienteering Club members: we'll accept up to eight COC Volunteer Appreciation Coupons at a value of $5 each. Just send them along with a check for the balance.

• Your age (if your team is not in the open (18-44) age group)
• Your contact information (e-mail, phone)
• Emergency contact person name and phone number
• Competition category (see the entry form (178k PDF, opens in new window) for category choices)
• Teammates
• Team name
• Racer who referred you if this is your first BEAST race and you heard about it from another racer

Registration involves two steps: (1) Sending your entry information, and (2) sending payment.

You are welcome to e-mail your entry information and pay by mailing a check, or mail your entry information and pay via PayPal. We just ask that you make a note that allows us to match your payment with your entry information, particularly when the name on the check or PayPal account doesn't match the name of the entered racer(s). --Thank you

Cancellation and refund policies

• If a registered participant does not participate, that person will receive a credit toward a future event of their entry fee, less an administrative fee of 25% ($15 minimum fee).
• If MerGeo has to cancel the event, then participants will be offered their choice of a full refund or credit toward a future MerGeo event. In some cases of cancellation, we may be able to offer a course at an alternate venue, however this option will not preclude the choice to receive a refund.
• If the event must be cancelled due to natural disaster, then participants will be offered their choice of a 65% refund or a credit of 75% of their entry fees toward a future MerGeo event.
• No refunds will be given as a result of course modifications made at the discretion of the organizers or landowners due to conditions of the terrain or weather.
