Race #3 -- Tuesday, June 3, 2008 -- Union Bay (Seattle)

This event will be based to the East of the University of Washington main campus. There are two start areas separated by nearly a mile for the prologue and the chase stages of this race. Each start has a different pay parking lot adjacent to it. You can park in one place and walk or bike to the other start area to avoid paying two parking fees, if you wish. We recommend parking in E12 (see below) and biking to the second stage start.

The first stage starts at the Waterfront Activities Center, located on Lake Washington, just North of the Montlake Cut. The nearest parking lot is E12. Here are directions coming from the North via I-5, coming from the South via I-5, and coming from the East via SR-520. Parking in E12 after 4 p.m. costs $4 (for an hour or longer).

The second stage starts adjacent to parking area E5, which must be accessed from Clark Road to the North. See this map for details. The ticket dispenser at lot E5 takes cash, so bring small bills.
